Abstract

Entrepreneurship sustainability is a business development trend that involves a change in strategic orientation of business enterprises whereby innovation, environmental awareness, and social benefits merge towards enabling economic transformation, in the long run. In Nigeria, sustainability and entrepreneurship have entered the crossroad as issues of continued unemployment, environmental pollution, and weak industrial infrastructures continue to be a concern. This paper will explore the impact of sustainable entrepreneurial programs in the economic change in Nigeria basing on pure evidence of Salubata and Ecotutu. The research employs a quantitative design with the help of secondary data to determine the effect of sustainability-driven businesses on generating employment opportunities, increasing productivity, and participative innovation. The results prove that the effective incorporation of environmental stewardship and the commonly applied principles of the circular economy can enable enterprises to gain a competitive advantage and have a positive spillover impact that contribute to the economic resilience of the nation. The recycling-centered production method of Salubata and Eco-friendly cold storage device of Ecotutu can serve as the verifiable proof that sustainable entrepreneurship can be as profitable as it is job-generating and economy-restoring. The article highlights the necessity of supporting mechanisms in the institution, specific education and policy frameworks that will put emphasis on green innovation as a driver of economic revival. It concludes that the sustainability of entrepreneurship is not just a business survival strategy but a disruption power that has the potential to remodel the Nigeria economy to be more inclusive and resilient.
